These DisplayPort to DVI
Cables were exactly what I needed, the cable connects directly from DisplayPort
(DP, DP++, DisplayPort++) equipped computer to a monitor (or a projector) with
DVI input. They support video
resolutions up to 1920x1200 / 1080P (Full HD) and the gold-plated connectors
are a very nice touch. Although not
mentioned in the description, this is a passive pass through adapter and you
may need an active adapter for a tri monitor display (eyefinity, etc.) This
worked very well for my setup which is simply a DisplayPort to a DVI – double
check your graphics card just to be sure.
If you are unsure you can also check that your PC/Laptop says PD++ then
it will use the passive adapter, otherwise you will need a different product.
