I used these as under
cabinet lighting LED lighting, the lights are bright and the product comes with
everything you see in the image. Set up was easy. I used another strand as
backlighting around the back edge of my desk, I would highly recommend this to
anyone looking to add something cool and new to furniture. The only reason I knocked off a star is that
you do have to order extra jumpers, wire and additional connectors which is a
bit of a pain to hook up and took me some time to setup.
The remote is
straightforward to use with color selecting/strobe/fade along with brightness
and speed controls for each setting. For example if you want to select the
"Fade7" program hit the "speed down" or "speed
up" to change the speed of the fade between colors. The remote offers many
pre-set selections: The color buttons are pre-set hues that can be dimmed using
the top left buttons. The bottom and right buttons have various fade, switch,
and strobe options that can be sped up or slowed down using two other buttons
("quick" and "slow"). The left lower buttons marked
"DIY1," "DIY2," etc. allows you to set custom colors using
the RGB arrows, but these settings cannot be dimmed. If the unit is turned off
via remote or loses power due to blackout, wall switch, or power strip; the
last used setting and DIY settings are saved.
