A great value for a trusted brand
Fluke makes different versions of Digital Multimeter's (DMM) selling at various price points and I've never had an issue with Fluke meters. I've found this meter to be 100% accurate when tested against other high dollar DMM's with a true-rms voltage and current readings for accurate measurements on non-linear loads. The unit itself is a solid unit, feels good in the hand and durable. This particular meter has all of the major features that are expected and needed for a good DMM plus a few extras including a built in display light. I've found the display easy to read even at angles.
The case and test leads are of good quality and do accept accessories that are sold separately such as alligator clips. It should be noted that the case is the yellow that goes around the meter, it is removable to make it easy to replace batteries and fuse but the vinyl zipper case is sold separately. All of the comparisons I ran were well within the meter's specifications. Overall this meter is extremely intuitive to use and has performed better than expected.
